But what if that was exactly the intention?<\/p>\n<p>Content recycling\u2014the deliberate reuse and reworking of existing content\u2014does not automatically mean a lack of ideas, but often strategic communication.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Repetition is a principle of communication<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Messages that stick, content that sticks: long-term communication thrives on repetition. Stories work because they are told consistently \u2013 often with a new twist. Big brands lead the way:<br \/>\nNike has been telling different variations of the same message for decades, namely &#8220;Just Do It.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A good topic can be translated into many formats. The core remains the same \u2013 only the packaging changes.<\/p>\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blog article &#8211;&gt;\u00a0LinkedIn post<\/li>\n<li>Press release &#8211;&gt; Interview pitch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is not recycling in the sense of &#8220;rehashing&#8221;; it is strategic distribution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Social media <\/strong>is a special case here. The rule here is: be quick, implement trends, and stay up to date.<\/p>\n<p>But:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not every target group sees every piece of content.<\/li>\n<li>Not every algorithm plays every post everywhere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reusing content does not mean repetition\u2014it means maximizing reach. A different hook or a slightly adapted cut can be a breath of fresh air to catch people&#8217;s attention.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Thought leadership comes from continuity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To be perceived as an expert, you talk about your expertise. Over and over again, even if the content remains the same \u2013 the art of communication is to find an exciting angle nonetheless.
