We are convinced: idiosyncratic minds and independent perspectives enrich every idea, every concept and every PR action. What our team members in East and West bring to the table is courage and attitude. Complemented by different training, experience and personal talents.
Culture & Career
Effective strategies from ingenious minds
With us, historians, natural scientists, linguists, marketeers, content creators, graphic designers and many others pull together with journalists and communication scientists. The common goal: to always develop the best concept for the task at hand.
What unites us? We regularly review our value system together – and the most important ones for our work life have been for many years: Living team spirit and always communicating appreciatively. We are there for each other, and ikp is there for us!
This is
what we stand for at ikp
Attitude
First of all, we neither work directly for parties nor do we belong to any “color”. We reject assignments contradicting our values. Teams for our clients are not only put together according to competence, but also according to personal affinity. If someone personally doesn’t want to have anything to do with alcohol, he doesn’t have to look after a brand of schnapps.
Trust
Cool offices, unlimited home office and a cost subsidy for remote working, that goes without saying. But there’s also flexitime and a lot of trust. Because with us, employees can flexibly arrange their working hours throughout the day. On the road, on holiday, visiting family? No problem, because you can work anywhere in Austria and – under certain conditions – even abroad. Of course, we also have part-time arrangements.
Lived (and beloved) diversity
The raised forefinger is not our way. We actively stand up against discrimination with sensitive communication and show our stance through inclusive language – the possibilities of which, by the way, go far beyond the gender asterisk. In our Diversity@ikp initiative, we clarify misunderstandings, train ourselves in transcultural communication and advise clients on gender-critical reactions.
Thirst for knowledge
Fully financed training during working hours – of course! In addition, we also have a cross-location academy. Here we learn from colleagues, external lecturers, journalists and opinion leaders. In the locations exchange, everyone from Salzburg can and should also work in Vienna and everyone from Vorarlberg in Graz and experience the different focal points at first hand.
Social commitment
For us, this means social days, donations instead of customer gifts and supporting projects that are particularly close to our hearts. We have sorted clothes for refugees for the Red Cross, cooked for the homeless, read wine for the Children’s Cancer Aid, worked pro bono for Reporters Without Borders, WineAid, Apropos – The Street Newspaper, #estutnichtweh and many initiatives more. We at ikp are happy to make working time available for this.
Safe interaction
We take a firm stand against any form of discrimination, bullying, harassment and abuse of power. Our Code of Conduct acts as a binding guideline for everyone – from trainees to management – with clear ground rules for transparency and physically and psychologically safe interaction. Our whistleblowing strategy, which was developed with the help of experts, regulates the reporting of misconduct in an unambiguous and clear manner.
