The food industry in Vorarlberg is full of exciting and attractive career opportunities.
To make this fact even clearer, to compensate for the lack of knowledge surrounding the existing career profiles and, above all else, to find much-needed skilled workers and apprentices, local food companies have joined forces in a shared communication campaign. With #schaffago (“go to work”), together with ikp Vorarlberg, VLMI has launched a fresh, “young” and attractive employer branding campaign focusing on social media activities as well as image and video communication.

The campaign is running very successfully, and has been expanded from a pure “professional initiative” at its launch to a “workforce initiative”. In the first three years of the campaign, we succeeded in significantly increasing the awareness for the Vorarlberg food industry, as confirmed by a representative survey in 2021. The ever-increasing numbers of visits and followers on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and the campaign website underline our success. Accordingly, it has been possible to reach each resident of Vorarlberg 4.3 times via the different channels.
